Specialized Services for the Elderly in South East Ontario
Specialized Services for the Elderly include health care services targeted at assessing and treating the functional, medical, and psychosocial aspects of illness and disability in older adults who have multiple and complex needs.
These services often overlap, but are generally grouped into the following areas: geriatric medicine, geriatric psychiatry and palliative care.
