SHRTN Library Service - Kingston
The Seniors Health Research Transfer Network (SHRTN) Library Service facilitates access to current, evidence-based information and supports the transfer of research knowledge into best practice. The service is freely available to all paid caregivers working in seniors’ health in Ontario and directly supports the work of all SHRTN Communities of Practice (CoP).
The SHTRN Library Service provides traditional library services as well as innovative services that help paid caregivers access high quality, clinically relevant information.
- Journal Articles - obtain copies of journal articles
- Literature Searching - an Information Specialist will search online databases for you
- Outreach - we are available to talk to you and your staff about SHRTN and the library service
- Current Awareness - remain current with newly published information in your areas of interes
- Borrowing - borrow books, audio/video materials, or other information resources
- Reference - we can help you formulate your reference question and find answers
- Education - you or your staff can receive customized training on information literacy topics
