Mental Health Services in South East Ontario
Mental Health Services are prevention, education, assessment, counselling and treatment services designed to help people who have mental illness and/or issues related to mental health.
There are a wide variety of mental health services available, focussing upon, but not limited to:
- mood disorders;
- anxiety disorders;
- eating disorders;
- attention deficit disorders;
- schizophrenia;
- suicide;
- psychosis;
- youth and self injury;
- sexual assault & violence; and
- mental illness.
Province-wide Mental Health Information Services
ConnexOntario Mental Health Helpline provides information about mental health services in Ontario. The Mental Health Helpline is a free, anonymous and confidential service that provides live answer telephone response 24/7. They provide listening, support and information about counselling and other services in communities across Ontario. They do not provide counselling.
