Hospital Eldercare Clinical Education - Building Upon easier+

In 2007, the South East Local Health Integration Network, on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, announced funding for the Eldercare Access Strategy in Emergency Rooms [easier+] initiative, to improve health care outcomes of the high-risk frail elderly. The project became a catalyst for local health care providers to reflect on their eldercare practices, and to identify existing gaps in knowledge, attitudes and skills.
A request was made by the easier+ steering committee to expand the scope of the easier+ education and training activity until the end of June 2009. Therefore a Hospital Eldercare Clinical Education program, or easier+ Part II, was developed.
- easier+ Part II Goals
- Hospital Eldercare Clinical Education: Core Program
- Hospital Eldercare Clinical Education: Advanced Program
- Hospital Eldercare Clinical Education: Mentor Program
