Facts & Figures about the South East LHIN
Source - South East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN)
The South East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is one of 14 networks established by the Province of Ontario to plan, manage, and fund the health care system at the local and regional level. The South East region extends from Brighton on the west to Prescott and Cardinal on the east, north to Perth and Smith Falls, and back to Bancroft.
Integrated Health Service Plan (2010-2013)
As part of its mandate, the South East LHIN has produced an Integrated Health Service Plan [IHSP] (2010-2013). The IHSP is the three-year strategic plan for our local health-care system.
IHSP - Regional Capacity Assessment & Projections
The purpose of the Regional Capacity Assessment & Projections [ReCAP] is to provide local data, where possible, that would support discussions related to the development of the second Integrated Health Services Plan. The guiding principle behind this is that if programs/services are to meet the needs of those they affect, then greater emphasis has to be placed on the evidence behind local planning and be supported by the collection and analysis of available data and projections at the local level. Here are links to selected statistics from the IHSP ReCAP.
