The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Health Quality Ontario and the Ontario Hospital Association held the Leading Healthcare Quality Summit & Innovations Expo in Toronto, Ontario on November 9, 2011. The Centre for Studies in Aging & Health at Providence Care presented an interactive multimedia display at this event to share knowledge about:

Creating Future Leaders in Eldercare

Overview

This project was designed to support a strategy promoting knowledge, awareness and excellence of practice in geriatric health care at Providence Care. Inter-professional and collaborative learning, mentorship and networking were emphasized to build a build a “Community of Practice” across geriatric medicine and psychiatry in-patient teams.
