Creating Future Leaders in Eldercare - Knowledge to Practice Project
Providence Care's Specialized Geriatrics and Geriatric Psychiatry, supported by the Centre for Studies in Aging & Health at Providence Care, designed and delivered a series of Workshops called Creating Future Leaders in Eldercare as part of an overall strategy to promote knowledge, awareness and excellence of practice in geriatric health care at Providence Care. Sessions provided opportunities for inter-professional and collaborative learning, mentorship and networking (building a “Community of Practice”) to strengthen and enrich team relationships within geriatric health care.
