Community Support Services - Client Intervention & Assistance in South East Ontario

Description of Service

Many community-based Provider Organizations (Providers) offer Client Intervention & Assistance services for seniors who may require intervention and/or crisis support with situations that may be negatively impacting their health and well-being, including abuse, financial and/or housing problems, food security and isolation.

Eligibility

The process for arranging care is different for each of the Community Support Services. Contact the local Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) to find out the process for each of the service options and whether someone is eligible for the government-funded services.

If the CCAC deems someone ineligible to receive government-funded services, or if someone wishes to make their own arrangements, they may apply to the Provider Organization directly.
