Community Support Services - Caregiver Education & Training in South East Ontario

Description of Service

Many community-based Provider Organizations (Providers) provide Caregiver Education and Training services that can assist caregivers or family members provide the care for a particular person.

Depending upon the Provider, Caregiver Education and Training services may include access to a lending library, audio/video resources and education/information sessions.

Eligibility

The process for arranging care is different for each of the Community Support Services. Contact the local Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) to find out the process for each of the service options and whether someone is eligible for the government-funded services.

If the CCAC deems someone ineligible to receive government-funded services, or if someone wishes to make their own arrangements, they may apply to the Provider Organization directly.
