Addictions & Mental Health Services in South East Ontario

Addictions & Substance Abuse Services are prevention, education, assessment, counselling and treatment services designed to help people who are suffering from a variety of harmful addictions including, but not limited to, drug and alcohol abuse, problem gambling and other related disorders.

Mental Health Services are prevention, education, assessment, counselling and treatment services designed to help people who have mental illness and/or issues related to mental health. There are a wide variety of mental health services available, focussing on, but not limited to, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, attention deficit disorders, schizophrenia, suicide, psychosis, youth and self injury, sexual assault, and violence & mental illness.

People experiencing an addiction and/or mental health related crisis may receive assistance from a variety of Crisis Intervention Services including, but not limited to, 24-hour confidential crisis support, brief intervention, assessment, referral, short-term crisis resolution support, withdrawal management, telephone crisis lines, and mobile response.
