Security Checks & Reassurance Providers in Southeastern Ontario Description of Service Many community-based Provider Organizations (Providers) provide Security Checks & Reassurance for seniors and their families by having a volunteer contact a senior on a regular basis by phone or in person. Some Providers also offer Emergency Response System technologies (for a fee) which may enhance a person's security. Eligibility The process for arranging care is different for each of the Community Support Services. Contact the local Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) to find out the process for each of the service options and whether someone is eligible for the government-funded services. If the CCAC deems someone ineligible to receive government-funded services, or if someone wishes to make their own arrangements, they may apply to the Provider Organization directly.
