Hearing Loss Support
Description of Service
Some community-based Provider Organizations (Providers) offer Hearing Loss Support services to seniors who may be experiencing varying levels of hearing loss.
Hearing Loss Support services may include counselling, education, communication devices, hearing health care and accessibility services.
Eligibility
The process for arranging care is different for each of the Community Support Services. Contact the local Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) to find out the process for each of the service options and whether someone is eligible for the government-funded services.
If the CCAC deems someone ineligible to receive government-funded services, or if someone wishes to make their own arrangements, they may apply to the Provider Organization directly.
